At Decksouth, we are a design/build firm.

Please be aware we do not perform any repair work or work with existing structures and cannot accept requests for repair work such as decking board replacments, stairs or handrail replacement.   All of our projects begin with developing a structurally sound design, which serves as the foundation for building an outdoor living space worthy of our customers.

The first step to get started is to have an initial phone consultation with our design team.  This call is feasibility discussion about your project to learn more about what your needs are and how Decksouth can best meet those needs.  Following the phone consultation, we will set up an on-site visit with one of our designers.  There is a $75 fee for this consulation which includes a site visit, Phase 1 top view design and proposal.

  1. What is the purpose of the call?

        The purpose of phone consultation is to get more information from you to determine the scope of work for your project to determine if an on-site consultation is needed.  This can be a big time saver for you as the homeowner and us the contractor if it is determined that we would not be a good fit for your project.  This can be for a variety of reason such as budget, scope of work or timing. 

  1. How long will the call take?

      Most phone consultations will take less than 15 minutes. 

  1. What is the next step after the call?

      If during the phone consultation it is agreed that we would be a good fit for your project, then we will schedule an on-site consultation with our design team where we will take field measurements, pictures and discuss design ideas.  We will also look at samples of materials to determine what is the best fit for your needs.
